La Mer De Pianos — Short

After spending time at Marc’s shop when growing up, the ambition was to capture his passion for music and dedication to his profession: Collecting and restoring unique, historic pianos from around the world.

We spent 2 days documenting Marc living and working in the middle of his hundred year old pianos. After filming, we recorded an interview about his experience owning the shop. Back in london we then edited the sequences together finding a narrative that best told his story.

In contrast to our more technical commercial work, it was an incredibly natural, enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Graded by the fantastic Luke Morrison.
